ASI Chicago – Promotional Gift Trends

The ASI Show Chicago that was held from 12th July to the 13th July 2016 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago brought out the latest promotional gift trends and ideas. We at ProImprint attended this event, which is easily one of the biggest tradeshows in summer. With over 700 suppliers on the show floor and an endless line up of products, it was an inspiring and informative experience for each one of us. Though time was a prohibitive factor in exploring all the booths, we managed to take a quick glance at some trending gift ideas.

Retro and green themes are back: Promotional gifts that have a vintage charm about it or are environment friendly seem to be getting popular in promotional events like tradeshows. We could see logo items like paper cups and straws in booths.

Chocolates: Free chocolates are the biggest crowd pullers and many booths handed out logo chocolates that were not just delicious but a subtle yet direct way to talk about their brands. We bet, logo food and candy will continue to be a rage in tradeshow booths for a very long time for sure.

Beating the heat: Personalized items like water bottles and can coolers that help the recipients stay cool and well-hydrated are great for any outdoor summer event. We saw an impressive lineup of trendy water bottles like 20 Oz Flip & Sip Vortex Tumblers in many booths.

Inflatables: The dramatically huge oversize items and inflatables readily drew us to many booths. It was a delightful photo-op as well. These make fun items to grab easy attention of the flowing crowd.
